Relay switch malfunction is a simple problem to correct. However, if left unchecked, the entire motor will overheat and break down. AC Fan Motor Won’t Start
When a fan motor fails to start completely, this is a clear sign the fan motor has broken down. You will not hear the fan motor running, nor will you feel air coming from the vents. When the fan motor is broken, it is important to have it replaced right away. If you allow the air conditioner to run when the fan motor is broken, the coil can ice up and other components will begin to break down.
